Origin continues to closely monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) to ensure the safety of our employees and to support our customers and our communities. We are freshly inspired by our purpose to ‘bring healing home’ and improve consumer outcomes. We have taken steps to ensure the safety of our employees and the stability and agility of our supply chain. We will also be putting our business continuity plans to test in the coming days.
For our employees, in addition to imposing visitor policies, we have heightened our cleaning regimes as well as informed and educated employees on how to protect themselves and their families against the virus. We have also outlined policies and procedures to be followed in the unfortunate event that an employee or family member becomes infected. For business continuity purposes, we are actively monitoring and adjusting inventory levels. We currently do not foresee any raw material supply chain issues, but the situation remains fluid. If we do see any possible interruption to supply, we will contact you immediately with specific updates and proposed solutions. Our customers continue to benefit from our local manufacturing and the insourcing strategy of previous years.
From your side, a heightened awareness of your predicted needs will allow us to react more nimbly to market fluctuations and consumer demand. To that end, if you foresee any changes to your demand, please contact your Account Manager and provide an updated forecast. We will do our best to accommodate as many extraordinary requests from our customers as possible, but foremost, we are committed to serving your regular needs, and to meet the needs of the consumers and patients who depend on our co-operation.
